DAB Radio. Traffic Messages

When on FM I  can get Traffic Messages, but not on DAB even though traffic  announcements are switched on, what am I missing?

that there are no RDS-TMC transmissions on DAB in the UK ...

As far as I'm aware the only traffic announcement service on DAB in the UK was closed down in 2011 due to cuts in the Highways Agency budgets. Nothing has replaced it so far.

Apparently other makes can get the messages as their radio picks them up on FM and cuts off DAB.

...... and some makes don't. 

Presumably Toyota may do something similar with the next generation multimedia unit - possibly due in the 2019 Auris/Rav4.

In the UK? I know that there are DAB traffic announcements in some countries on the continent.

or you could enable traffic over internet on Touch 2 via your phone?
