Which do you believe?

When I got the Aygo, the fuel gauge had two bars and it claimed it had 60 miles remaining.  If this were true, each bar is 30 miles and given there are 6 bars in total, 180 miles on a tank if pretty poor....

After putting £20 in, there are four bars showing claiming 230 miles remaining or 57.5 miles per bar.  Getting better at 345 miles per tank!!

Now, which do you believe?  The number of bars showing or the miles remaining?  The last thing I want to do is to believe one and then find I run out of fuel....

Hi Cos, welcome to TOC 🙂

It's not a linear gauge on the Aygo & Toyotas always have a "reserve".

Thanks for this.

Sounds like it best to go with the miles remaining then just to be on the safe side 😀
