Auto gear shift lightbulb -- 2003 RAV4 3-door

Hi Folks.

I think the selection numbers next to the auto gear shift stick (the floor-mounted ones, not those up on the dashboard) should light up at night?

If true, is the bulb change an easy DIY task please?

The position indicator housing is clipped in position at the 4 corners - prise it upwards and slide it up the stick. The bulb and holder can then be seen . The bulb is a 1.2 Watt push in instrument panel type - though you could use an LED bulb.
