These are some quick photos taken of the bores on my 2ZZ-GE engine removed and stripped to be rebuilt.


As I said I'm pretty sure I know the answer but I've never rebuilt an engine with treated bores quite like the 2ZZ-GE.

Scrap or possibly saveable??

I would say repurpose it as a very effective boat anchor but at £750 + £250 for a short engine and shipping I might aswell check for second opinions more knowledgeable on. this particular engine than me.
