Install Navi Screen in a non-Navi Avensis

Hello,

I wonder what happens if i buy a flip-up Navigation screen for my 05 Avensis non-Navi. Can the screen show the function that the existing multifunction display shows (miles and mpg..) or will it simpley not work at all?

The navi system is more complex than just the screen and the remote. AFAIK you need a disc reader of some sort for the map DVDs, and you also need the GPS antennas.
