Near Side Door Switch

Morning folks

I have a 2006 Aygo + and ive noticed that where the interior light door switch should be on the near side, its taped over.

Is there provision to put the switch in, ie does the loom have the socket there?

Seems a bit tight of them not to fit for the sake of it!

Thanks

there is no wiring present for the passenger side door switch

buy a switch and then take a cable from the new switch

under the rear seat and connect to the wire on the drivers door switch

you could also fit a light delay unit at the same time.

omissions like this is what happens when a car is built on a small budget

Ah yeah, that was my last resort but my only option it seems.

Well yeah the cars weren't expensive all singing all dancing so i guess some sacrifices had to be made!

to be honest

it shouldn't really matter how cheap a car is there should be somethings you can take for granted

will be fitted i.e. all round door pins with light delay,a boot light, glove box light they maybe only

small things but they can make all the difference even led lighting internally as standard

it only cost a few pounds to have them retro fitted so even less for toyota to fit them as std.

Yes, that sums it up well to be fair.

Same as the glove box cover, bought one yesterday for it, and it will just make the interior feel a little more complete.

If they can sell them so cheap at a dealer, then why not fit them.

I guess its whatever the market demanded at the time.
