Replacement Smart Key Fob

Hi guys,

Just wondering as my 2007 yaris 1.4d4d came with a single key, i was looking to get a replacement 2nd key as a spare.

Looking online programming the Toyota smart key ( as mine has remote entry and keyless start) seems to be pretty easy.

I was wondering where i could purchase a blank smart fob with the electronics inside as i can only seem to find replacement empty shells for battered keys.

Also if anyone knows how much it would cost. Or if the dealers charge is reasonable ( below £100.00)

Thanks in advance

Replacement keys together with programming will probably be around £150 or so from a dealer. Could also try an auto locksmith, which may be cheaper.

try Timpsons (not all - they have stores that specialise in auto)

The key fob includes a "real" key too.

If you only have one fob, you need both the electronic package unit and the mechanical key as a combined unit.
