Hello. After 2 years in pain with my RAV4, i finally replaced the engine and it works like a charm. I have a 2007 2.2l toyota rav4. The engine it had was 2AD-FTV 2007. I made a full replacement of the engine with a 2009 type.After installit it works great.No trouble codes,no smoke. The mechanic told me that the new engine (it came with injectors and fuel pump) works great and the injectors or the pump don't need to be coded to the ECM. Is it true? Or do i need to code the fuel pump and the injectors. Thanks in advance
