My father has a UK K reg 2 litre diesel van and the speedometer had been acting up recently, it now doesn't work at all. We've pulled the sensor and it looks fine so guess it's an electrical fault. I can find 21 tooth replacement parts but it's a 19 tooth we need.

Any advice appreciated.

Are wiring diagrams still available for this vehicle? I'm not 100% confident the cable loom is ok as I'm recording 7v on the pulse line to the sensor without the sensor plugged in. I get Battery volts on the + and continuity on the - wires but also record continuity on the P wire. This doesn't seem right to me.
