Can voice guidance be disabled on Sat Nav?

I find the voice guidance intrusive on the Sat Nav - I'd prefer to use the screen only for guidance. Is there any way of turning off voice guidance?

Yes, just turn the satnav vol. to 0 ... . 😛

(setup>general>volume controls or press the mute icon on screen)
