Hello everyone

I am hoping that someone out there can help me to locate a part which everyone says is too old to get spares for. Hard to believe, even though I have exhausted every avenue, from scrap yards, to brand new all to no avail. I am pulling my hair out, sleepless nights, I must find this part for my 1996 Toyota Carina e exec. 2.0LPetrol, it only has 56,000 miles on the clock from new. Never until now failed an mot. I need a rear brake pressure power regulator/compensator valve. I am apologising in advance as I am not very computer literate - sorry. Can anyone HELP? Please.

Hi Jenniferr.

Send this man an email, he's on this site, works for a Toyota main dealer and if he can't help you then it's time to worry a bit but don't worry now, he's very good.

If you can't find him I can give you his phone number, he won't mind but don't forget your phoning the UK.

Mike.

..... This would be a 'load compensator/anti lockup valve'?

Common to lots of cars [dunno about ABS tho?]

ABS should make these odsolete....

BOL 🙂

Hi Jennifer.

Don't forget this is a main Toyota dealership, called Lindop, so he won't answer the phone it will be the receptionist so then you have to ask for him, normal business hours.

The number is 01978 720074, ask for John Devlin, also answers to Kingo, you are welcome to say I gave you his contact details.

If this part is available he will probably, 99% post it to you.

If he can't help you then start banging you head against the wall, lol.

Regards, Mike.
