My daughter has just purchased a 2016 Aygo X CITE 3 VVT-1. The specifications in the handbook refer to two possible engine types, known as 1KR and HM01. The engines have significant differences in recommended fluids and capacities, etc. There is no reference to which type is fitted to her car. Can anyone help with this?

All UK Aygos have the Toyota 1KR engine (1.0 litre).

The owners manual isn't just used for the UK, so the reference to the PSA HM01 engine is relevant to some markets.
