Toyota Aygo MK2 Rear lamp removal

Hello,

Has anybody on here ever removed the NSR or OSR rear lamps on a 2014 onwards Toyota Aygo?

I want to fit a LED reverse light bulb & Philips led side & brake light bulbs

I have had a go at removing the rear lamp assembly on my 2016 Toyota Aygo by starting removing the 2x 10mm black bolts which are clearly visible.

Once these bolts are removed the lamps move a bit but are still very tight. I don't want to force them and break the lamps.

I have also removed the back trim inside to check if there are any more mounting bolts or nuts. Cannot see any.

The multiplug is secured through a large rubber grommet.

Had a look online at images of the Aygo MK2 rear lamps. All I can see is 2x pointed plugs  that sit on the back of the lamps.

Any assistance would be useful.

Thanks

Mark

I've never done it, but this is what it says in the manual

Open the back door and remove the 2 screws, and remove the lamp assembly by pulling it directly backward from the rear of the vehicle.

Hi

i have had mine off to replace lights with leds all you need to do is remove the bolts and just pull the light it is on a catch which is tight but just needs a good pull and then access can be gained as said above.
