I have a 2006 with a 2.2 diesel. Does anyone know where I can get a workshop manual for the engine?

Hi Gary, welcome to TOC 🙂

https://www.toyota-tech.eu online access will be payable, amount varying upon how long you want but you can download information for later use.

I have this one.  It includes the diesel.  It is the genuine Toyota publication, but you only pay once, and you don't need to be on line to read it 😏

exactly the same as getting it from toyota-tech.eu then & it's only €3.00 for 1 hour access there which should be enough to download the manual - that's 1/4 of the price compared to somebody that is probably breaching copyright.

But do they lock your browser from saving it?  Some sites do.

No member has complained so far about this when using Toyota-tech.eu.

OK, but you would end up with a large number of separately filed pages you would have to import into a single pdf document and then link to the contents list and index, assuming you have a suitable pdf application to facilitate that.  Hours of fun 😣

No, there is a repair manual as a pdf (where do you think emanuals got it?).

I had assumed that it is a pdf, but can you log in and download and save the whole thing with one click, or only the page currently on your screen?  Therein lies the rub.

afaik (I have had no personal need to actually do it for a RAV4) the whole thing as a download.

Oh well, if you can download and save it for €3.00, then it's a bargain, but it must be fairly unique amongst pay-to-view sites, because no-one would visit more than once.

Well presumably things get updated over time. I think that it is mainly there to support garages (with the much higher annual fees - which do, however, include the Intelligent Tester updates/manuals).

& of course as an user you have already bought the car so Toyota have made their money ...:P
