engine light

I recently bought a Toyota auris privately but the engine management light has came on, warning triangle and VSC light , seems to only happen when I am driving about 60mph. i bought it off a friend and they took it to their mechanic who said he couldn't find much wrong with it and said he 'cleaned' the sensors and that should be it. picked it up last night and his morning all the lights are back on again!!

Hi, back to the garage again and ask for the fault codes from diagnostic and also what is mechanic opinion for the problem, which sensors he cleaned, what he thinks is the problem, anything that can supply further info. Than share with us here  and we will take it from there, otherwise we can really help without that info.

hi I have the same lights on my Toyota rav4 and they have just came on after I blanked the egr valve so I would check your egr vaule  to see if it has been blanked off  cheers

Unfortunately the original post is over a month old (wonder where it was hiding) and so I would hope the poster has had the issue fixed by now.
