Had to have a couple of these replaced over the last year after misfire problems on a 54 plate 1.8vvti T3.  Rather than pay out to have it done in the future I thought it would make sense to buy a couple more and just hang on to them for peace of mind until needed and fit them myself. It looks like it is a fairly straight forward job even for a complete novice like myself! (After all, I fixed the rattly exhaust heat shield with bulldog clips.)

Being an old car I'm not sure that it's worth paying top dollar for OE parts but can anyone suggest good brands to get or even brands which should be avoided?
