I am Greg and I have an Avensis 2.2d4d estate 2005- my first Toyota. I must say I find it rather' odd'-very comfortable , reasonably fast, roomy, well equipped  but also  strangely characterless as a driver's car . It does what it does  very well....but.... 

A few problems to start with. EGR was coked up and I had the dreaded washer failure on the diesel injectors  fortunately sorted before anything went pear shaped. Now I have an intermittent alarm issue but  the procedure for trying to get to the alarm siren is not obvious
