Power socket

I have just taken delivery of my new Corolla and was annoyed to find there is only one power socket in the car on my previous car the Auris there was 3 the fact that there is only one makes it difficult to use more than one item such as dash cams etcetera and the other annoyance is if you need to inflate a tyre where is the socket in the boot?

I've only seen one I must admit, and I assumed there was usb ports under the arm rest but not in the one I've got, unless it's in the hatchback Excel or Touring Sport...

I ran a 3 port USB from the centre console to charge my phone, izettle and tomtom live sat

That does seem a bit mean of them on the power socket front.  On a different tack, I noticed that if you don't have the air vents in the centre console for the rear seat passengers (Excel only?), then you don't get heater vents installed for the rear passenger's feet either.  Perhaps an opportunity for a 'rear passenger winter socks' pack?

Maybe they were thinking that poorer people don't notice the cold so much.  :-)

Touring Spot has two power sockets, one under the armrest and one in the boot.

on the subject of vents, on my 2019 Corolla they are there, there is one power socket and one USB socket in the centre console so if you need to inflate a tyre (as I haven't got a spare) that's it, you can add a splitter but then it takes up space for other things
