Granvia auto help

Hoping desperately someone can help

I have a 3.0L Toyota Granvia 1994it has the 1KZ-T engine

the issue is that the auto box seems to be stuck in a higher gear.

pulling away from stationary is almost impossible however once it is going it is perfectly fine. 

My thoughts are that it’s the solenoid that is knackered but hoping someone else may be able to shed some light?

This should be a manual for HiAce for that year, but i'm not sure if it's working or not.

I dont have windows machine to test it now, it "should" work on Internet explorer (EDGE).

Welcome Adam...you sure it's not just an ATF level/condition issue.???
