Oil Dipstick

Today I checked my oil on my 1998 rav4 but when i pulled the dipstick  out there was no level marker end where can  i find a new dipstick please

I'd be wondering where the bottom end's gone, and is it OK where it is.  A year or so ago, someone with a similar problem on this forum was asking how the bottom of the dipstick could be removed.  I don't recall we ever heard the final outcome.

In answer to your question, you could try scrapyards but could be wild goose-chase.  I'd suggest first contacting a Toyota dealer to see if any available.  Worth contacting Lindop Toyota (Parts-King) who you'll find elsewhere on the Forum.
