Hi there,

im new to this forum and new to Celica. I have become obsessed with GEN 6 Celica GT / GT4 over the past week and just today a GEN 5 drove past my house.

I have read too much info over the past couple days such as "st205, st202, 3sge, 5sfe, 2zz, vvti... etc" all sorts of stuff. I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to discuss the specs and differences in specs between models concisely in one thread for me.

Is GT AWD like GT4?

Are UK as reliable as imports?

differences between GEN 6 non GT and GT versions?

What's insurance/road tax like?

Is it hard to get parts for these cars?

What mileage should i avoid when buying?

What's 'SR' some sort of limited edition?

If you think there is anything else that's worth mention please don't hesitate

I've never felt like this about a car before and i know it will be a worth investment.

Thanks😁

Hi,

Been quoted 1300 lowest with a black box and the next offer at 1600. This is for a 97 GT. I've held my license for over a year but never drove. Any tips on who to go through that can give me a better deal?
