Reverse parking assist is no longer working, help

Hi guys, I have a 2013 Auris Hybrid with the reverse parallel parking assist no longer working, when i press the button, i get a message on the display saying i must turn the steering wheel far right, then far left. I have done this several times, but the parking assist still does not work. Any ideas what could be wrong?

I'm guessing out of alingment, so it's trying to calibrate by having you turn the wheel all the way.

I guess you need Techstream cable to find out more on the issue.

Hopefully someone else will give an easier fix.

You have to be really quick when turning right then straight through to left before returning to centre
