Yaris 2002 1300cc - What coolant?

Hello,

I have just bought a Yaris 2002 1300cc and I would like to replace the engine coolant. I am wondering what coolant is compatible with my model.

My local car parts store has the following:

-MOBIL MEDIC light blue coolant

-MOBIL MEDIC transparent coolant

-K2 light blue coolant

-K2 red coolant

Are them compatible with my model? If yes, have I dilute it with water or not?

George Hi, you can use any Ethylene Glycol based fluid. The less dilution the better the frost protection. Should take approx 4.5 lts (1 Imp Gall). Also make sure it has corrosion protection. Colour doesn't really matter, just read the label. Don't use just water, except as an emergency last resort.

What about this? It is the Toyota ethylene glycol stuff and is recommended to last several years.
