2012 verso radio and light issue

I have a 2012 verso 2.0 d4d with a touch screen Oem radio. I recently got a new fridge freezer with 12v plug. Decided to use it today. After about an hour my radio just restarted on its own and there was no sound. Volume does not adjust, does not find CD, even if I connect phone via bluetooth and play audio it will not play although bluetooth connection was successful. I later noticed that my left driving light also started troubling. It works on start up (takes longer to warm up. It has the original white globes)

Once I start the car the radio and headlight is perfect but after a while both repeat the above fault. Any ideas?
