Hi does anyone have picture of where the TPS is located on my Yaris 2002 d4d diesel please can’t find anywhere as I believe easy to replace and don’t wanna pay garage fees have new sensor to fit 😊

I understand it is inside the tyre itself and can only be replaced by taking the tyre off.

Rather than the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor, the OP is asking about the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). The 2002 Yaris didn't have TPMS.

what obd2 code do you have ? as the code is just generic it could be the throttle pedal or the TPS on the TB

edit. 2002 d4d will be mechanical with a vacumn venturi with a cable throttle to the injector pump, unless its a very late 2002

Edit 2. Its a mechanical diesel (cable throttle) but it only has a sensor on the throttle eg. https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/Toyota-YARIS-Diesel-Accelerator-Throttle-Pedal-78010-52010-89281-52010/15010735927

Have a look at the throttle pedal - later type https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2001-2005-GENUINE-TOYOTA-YARIS-ACCELERATOR-THROTTLE-PEDAL-78010-0D030/254315855120?hash=item3b3667fd10:g:JfgAAOSwGIJdQUgb
