Sat Nav for 2016 Aygo with touch?

Hi All,

Looking for a 2016 Aygo for my wife who wants sat nav integrated and most in our price range seem to have the touch screen but not sat nav module. Any idea if it could be retrofitted fairly easily (i`ve installed stereos before) , toyota want £800 to do it. or otherwise could an Apple iPhone or android be plugged in to use waze, google maps, Apple maps,etc into the existing system?

If you can find a s/h module (it's a modular system) on eBay etc. then depending on your vehicle:

That system doesn't have Carplay or Android Auto compatibility & tbh Mirrorlink isn't much use & is being allowed to wither on the vine.

ok thanks, sounds like mirrorlink isnt worth the hassle,any ideas what parts are required if the model we get has the touch screen? seems like there is a kit for £400 off toyota which seems alot if its just a few cables and a gps antenna .

I'm experimenting with my Aygo touch screen at mo to get nav, so will follow this post with interest.

There have been plenty of threads/posts on this forum from car owners as to what they think of the standard fit sat navs. Do a search yourself and determine if you think it’s worth the hassle or not.

I retro fitted in under one hour, not a big job.  All worked fine.

got the full kit luckily off eBay which worked immediately.
