Yaris semi automatic gearbox

Hiya I have an 08 yaris semi automatic! 

Replaced the clutch and now it wont go into gear just flashing N.

Anybody any ideas what might be wrong or anything I can try to get it running again

Do you know if it is called what is known as a MMT gearbox?

I think yes, in the profile it says Yaris MMT.

There is a reset procedure when replacing a part, as the car needs to adjust to new clutch, find the bite point etc.

You can do this using Toyota Techstream diagnostic.

Hi Lynette.

With the greatest of respect the MMT gearbox is considered the worst gearbox Toyota have ever made, personally I would get the car taken to a Toyota dealership, get them to set the gearbox up and sell the car very soon afterwards.

Sorry to be so blunt but I felt I had to say it.

If it hasn't been done the gearbox need to recalibrated with a high end scan tool/dealer tool (Techstream)

 

I wouldn't say there the worst thing in the world, but they do need tlc and looking after - The Vauxhall easytronic makes the Toyota MMT look good
