2019 RAV4 bleeping when braking

PeteB it’s definitely an electronic beep but to be honest it can almost sound like a squeak at times.

Thanks for clarification but it does seem that all kinds of different noises are possible. If I apply the brakes very gently I hear a single click, might be just a heavy duty relay closing somewhere. I definitely don't get a beep of a computer generated kind. When the brakes are applied a little harder I also get a high pitched continuous tone which seems to coincide with the regenerative braking phase. Neither are loud and they are practically unnoticeable when the engine is running.

Hi Guys, 

I have the same issue. Low volume, high pich beep when pressing the brake on my Rav4 Hybrid 2020. Wasn't there initially but after around a 1000kms, it started making the noise. It lasts about half a second and then again after about 4-5 seconds till the brake paddle is pressed.

Any updates please.
