No internet connection

2019 UK Dynamic Rav4,  Touch 2 display and iPhone.

bluetooth & WiFi connected to my phone but the display says 'Username or password is not correct try again'.
Few minutes later the Touch 2 screen says 'Connection failure, traffic information could not be retrieved.

Any suggestions gratefully received. Thank you.

Seems like it cant connect to wifi hotspot on your phone due to wrong password.

Change the password and connect again.

Thank you, that does seem logical. Please clarify that your suggestion is to change the password on my iPhone?

Are you trying with the ignition on if not then give that a go as my Ford Galaxy needs to have the ignition on and not just the radio on good luck

I presume you have your car registered with Toyota and e store set up as well ?

Problem resolved. 

The other day I had a difficulty logging into My Toyota and it was necessary to change the password. It never occurred to me that this would impact upon the car accessing information from the internet.

All I had to do was to enter the same password in the car as the My Toyota site and bingo, we are back in business, traffic reports from the web, Google street view etc.

Operator headspace applies.
