Wheels And Tyres

I'm sure this question has been asked before (but I'm new to the Forum).

One of my Toyotas is a 1998 Corolla GS it originally had 14inch wheels, it now runs 15 inch wheels (Made by TSW) with Yokohama 195/55 tyres.

I would now like to try a larger size (same TSW Style) such as 17inch. Would this fit? and would there be wheel arch clearance problems? also would handeling be better or worse?

The car is standard in every way and has not even been lowered.

If not 17 would 16 inch be okay but what tyre size would be required?

Thankyou Toyota Forum.

WHEEL AND TYRE CALCULATOR is amazing and very useful (has proved really useful with wheel and tyre combinatons on other vehicles as well). I should have looked/noticed that first before asking question ...silly me!

Also many thanks to 'FIREBREATHER' who had a website offering advice on modifications and kindly replied to my e-mails.

Well Done Guys and Girls.
