When reversing the rear parking sensor beeper is quite quiet compared to the front one, has anyone else noticed this?

I believe there is two set of beepers. One at the front of the car and one at the rear which might explain why it sounds quieter

I feel the one in the rear is too quiet, even with the audio turned down it is difficult to hear.

The dealer should be able to adjust for you.

but you could try this yourself.

On the steering wheel, the left set of controls.

On the arrow set with "OK" in the middle, with the display screens active (hybrid system on) push either left or right arrows repeatedly until you see the menu options with "LTA" at the top, on your instrument panel display..

Use the down arrow to select "P"

Press and hold the "OK" button down,  until you see a volume "triangle".

Then press the OK button again to adjust the volume up and down. A beep will be heard at various volumes, but there are only 3. By default, the volume is at half way.

Use the return button to return to the previous menu.

This will probably adjust back and front volume, the dealer will have to advise if you only want the rear volume raised, I can't see how to do that on it's own.

  • Thanks 1

Thanks for that Timmon, it has made it louder.

I believe there is a dealer/Carissa option

also think there is some adjustability from the infotainment system
