I have a new chr 1.2 petrol not hybrid and find it is very sore on fuel has anyone else thought this

Depends what you mean by 'sore' - can you give an indication of what consumption you're getting, how the consumption is calculated, what type of driving environment (city, etc), age, mileage to date, etc.
