Hi guys have a rav4 xt5 2.2 diesel came out the other day thought it was flat press button nothing happens ? Tried jumping it nothing happens bump it bingo it starts ? No noise put foot on clutch green light comes on press button nothing doesn't even try and turn over. Any ideas ?

First thoughts would be check that the Battery terminals are tight then, the main fuse for the starter (fusible links on the Battery terminal) and wiring to the starter, if that is ok maybe a dead starter solenoid - New starter motor

Yeah that was my thoughts the only thing that put me off the starter was no noise at all from it
