Each dealer will be different. Unless you pay for a treatment like Supaguard, it will just have a standard wax polish, nothing other than that

I been a long term user of Carnuba wax polish. Done a brilliant job, easy to apply and polish, even in real hot sun. Very good for getting rid of foreign matter like tar spots and bird/tree droppings. Best place to source I found to be Ideal World TV shopping, four 1 litre sprays for £20.  Good, but shine lasted only 4-6 weeks.

Now using Carplan Number 1. Car needs to be throughly clean before applying, so I still use Carnuba wax. Then I apply Number 1. It’s a trigger spray applied sparingly, 2 or 3 pumps per panel, then carefully wiped with a microfibre cloth evenly all over the panel. Too much spray and it may run/streak. Cost - bought mine for £8 from Wilko, on Amazon for £10, seen it for a lot more on eBay. One bottle is said to be enough for about 8 small cars, so very cost effective. Reckoned one application is good for 12 months, only been using for about 5 months so can’t verify 12 months, but car still looking good when washed. However, at £8 for up to 8 applications it’s not costing a lot if you apply, say, twice a year. A good buy.

Dealers use various aftermarket paint and interior treatments - examples Supagard, G3 Glasscoat, Diamondbrite, etc. Usually includes some sort of paint sealant, fabric stain protection, etc. Costs vary from £300-400 upwards. Some also require a conserver or hydrophobic/hydrophilic solution to be applied regularly to maintain the water repellancy, etc.

Back in 2006 the wife bought a new Citroen C1 and splashed out her dosh to have paintwork treatment for then about £250 if I remember correctly. In our opinion that was not good value for money, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I would ask the dealer not to do any treatment to a brand new car and be very careful while washing it (seen to many brand new cars badly swirled by the dealer prep work).
This is not to say that dealers are bad at it, they simply do not have time to do it properly.
For example, ceramic coating done by the specialist will take at least a day and cost about £300. This will include the proper multi stage wash and the paint correction if needed.
Ask the dealer to remove the protective film and not to put it thought the automated car wash and agree on the mobile valeting company to do the first cleaning.
This will leave the paintwork with the minimum amount of swirls and then you can apply paint protection.
It is a bit of a hustle to arrange it, but end result is worth it.
From recent experience, I was buying a three year old Auris a few months back and Toyota dealer offered Supagard treatment for £300.
When I asked if they will touch up stone chips professionally first and do the paint correction to remove the swirls, I was asked why is it needed. This told me that this particular dealer just sells it, but have no idea how to apply it correctly.
Again, not all are like this, but in general the specialist will do the better job for the same or less money.
Another cheap option, if the paintwork is in good condition, use something like Collinite 854 to seal it, it last about 6 months and can be applied in multiple layers
