Mystery fault

I've inherited a landcruiser 3 litre diesel 15 years old in great condition. EXCEPT

It starts first time and runs well until the engine just dies at any point. It can run for an hour or just 10min.

By removing a Battery cable and depowering the car then immediatley replacing the connection. The car starts again and runs easily until it happens again.

I have had it to my local garage and 4 by 4 specialist. No faults show on the ECU

Does anyone have any experience of this fault and offer advice or can anyone suggest a Toyota 4 by 4 specialist in the Yorkshire Derbyshire area

Many thanks

Does the car have power after it dies, can you use radio, etc with ACC on switch?

Does the car crank, how exactly does it fail to start?

What was checked so far?

All lights radio etc still work. It just stutters and dies. It will crank over but fails to start until the Battery terminal is taken off and put back on

Fuses have been checked and terminals cleaned
