Hi I have a Toyota prius 2018 I am facing a problem with my vehicle which the doors getting deadlocked and do not open few times I have disconnected the Battery and somehow it’s reset itself and start working but now unfortunately it’s going to deadlock mode each time I disconnect the Battery nothing happens it sounds weird but it’s happened in my ownership three times now, on the dash it says VSC not functioning and the keyless go system only works for the drivers door and sometimes it doesn’t work any guidance on what I should do,

A diagnostic scan comes up with toyota prius b2325 code, anybody can help.

Anybody help?  2018 car,  how about a Toyota dealer.  It’s under warranty, why fiddle too much yourself. It’s ok if a simple problem, if a recurring problem I would t mess about too much.

B2523 is a lin bus fault on the drivers side - a wild guess would be the drivers window switch is iffy (also does the door locking) if you want to try something disconnect the driver's door switch and see if that changes the locking with the fob

its just clipped to the door panel and removed with a trim tool or a large flat blade with end taped up

Have a look at these pic's for reference

What you describe happened to me because the 12v Battery was flat and didnt even have sufficient power to operate the door locks or alarm. In my case, I popped open the bonnet and attached a spare Battery to the jumper terminals especially provided on my 07 t spirit and started the beast up in the normal way.On start up , the alarm sounded and I reset it from the key fob and we went home.

Check your 12 volt Battery and check the connections are sound.Other than that I havent got any idea whats wrong with your car.

thank you for your reply however the Battery is only 4 months old and the car drives fine , just the passenger doors are deadlocked and will not open after trying various methods even from the inside amd remain permanently locked , really frustrating. Also the alarm which went off infrequently does not work now ?
