Hi my little Yaris has a fuel leak for the tank , I need to get a second hand one and I wondered if I can put a plastic one in it’s place ? Does anyone know if it will fit , I have some one who has a Yaris they are scrapping but there tank it plastic mine is metal and his car is a 2003 ? I’m desperate as I love my car can anyone help please

Where is it leaking from ? Petrol or diesel ? I take it you have checked all the hoses, Pump seal and filler pipe work (over time the plastic of the fuel pump housing can crack too)

A new tank is £100-180 and will be Pressed steel, problem with a used one is finding a courier to send it by even a empty tank can hold vapours, one spark and boom
