2014 Toyota Aygo manual gearbox ?

Hi,

I test drove this car today and all is fine....however, the manual gearbox is not as smooth as I would expect.

It has full Service history, 80% of it being Toyota.  It's done 40k miles.  They had another Aygo with roughly the same mileage, so I asked to also test drive that to compare the gearbox and that was the same.

Is this typical of Aygos ?

Yeah my aygo isn't great with transmission either

I have the MMT gear box and it's really smooth in manual mode, not so much in *E* mode. Can't comment on fully manual sorry
