Transferring Phone Contacts from iPhone 8?

Sirs,

I have just taken delivery of my 5th generation RA4 Dynamic 2WD with JBL option pack. Very happy with it, even though it’s only been 2 days. Struggling to transfer my contacts from my iPhone 8 to the infotech system. Followed instructions on the info screen, auto transfer and manual (using a USB lead). In auto it says transfer complete, but displays 0/0 contacts have been transferred. Can anybody please offer and any assistance in what I might be doing wrong? Many thanks.

On your phone select "settngs" > "bluetooth" > Click on the little blue i next to the cars pairing and ensure the "show notifications & "sync contacts" tabs are "on"
