These are the Toyota instructions for fitting parking sensors on the pre-facelifted model.  Taking the bumper off is part of this procedure.

The mounting points for your model will be incredibly similar/the same.

Unless you are someone who likes assembling IKEA furniture, then this guide (although genuine) might be a bit annoying/short on words.

Was this for any particular reason?  Parking damage? Or just to get the car clean?

The front edge of the bumper has to be pulled outwards to disengage from the black diagonal plastic arrangement on the straight joint with the body..  It almost 'pops' outwards.
