NAVI Screen in night mode

Recently the NAVI screen thinks it's night time and goes into dark mode. In bright sunlight it acts normally. So, I assume there's a light sensor somewhere that needs a clean.

Anyone any idea where it might be located?

Should be in your owners manual.

If you dont have one, you can download it for free from Toyota UK.

Thank you for your interest.

No mention in manual of where the night sensor is located.

But fixed the problem by forcing it to day mode in Navi SETUP.
