VSC + TRC off + check engine lights are on

so my VSC and trc off as well as my check engine lights are on.

what does that mean usually ?

I had a coil pack go (on my T25 1.8 petrol) which triggered a flashing check engine light (CEL). The VSC and TRC lights also came on. Once the coil pack was replaced, the fault codes were cleared and the VSC and TRC lights went out. I guess once you've sorted whatever is making the CEL come on, the VSC and TRC lights will automatically go out.

It means there is something with the engine management system.

There will be nothing wrong with the Traction Control or stabilility system, thopse lights are on because of the engine fault.
