Removal of bench seat (Estima)

We have recently purchased a Japanese import of a 2000 model Estima which we are loving. We cannot get hold of a users manual in English and wondered if anyone knew where we might find one?

We have no idea how to get the rear bench seat out and cannot find any help. Does anyone know how we do it?

An English translation owners manual can be on eBay from autojapspares Coventry, it tells you everything about the seats but not how to remove them. I've not looked at mine but is there any bolts visible to undo?

IIRC there are only 4 bolts...underneath the plastic moulded covers each side...I think there is a video on Youtube somewhere.

I think that will only remove the actual seat but the runner legs/supports will still be there...and you have to "dig deeper" to get those out by releasing them from the tracking if you want a flat floor.

It should be the same as the Previa

seat removal

Here's how to remove the runners

That's the very video I saw on Youtube, Bob...seems simple enough.
