Flashing Lock Light

I have had my new Dynamic 2wd a week now and have noticed a flashing "warning" light when the car is either single or double locked.

Does any body know what this is and whether it indicates a fault?  

 

( Apologies for font size ...its a Red Lock imposed in front of a car )

It's flashing when the Hybrid system is off, whether the car is locked or not.  It means the engine immobiliser system is active.
