Driver lives within the Birmingham Zone so should have a two year exemption from when it starts.

Leeds zone does not cover ordinary cars  but Brum does!!!  ??    why the difference i wonder?

Drivers of a vehicle which doesn't meet the requirements of the Zone may apply for a two year exemption, but must apply for the exemption annually.

The respective Local Authority decides on which vehicles comply with their Clean Air Zone. Birmingham has included private cars as needing to comply with their emissions standards, Leeds has decided not to include private cars.
