Service Light?

I have a 2015 Auris and have a service plan.

Will I be notified when I need to get the car serviced or just by my mileage or service indicator?

Believe hybrids need servicing every 10,000 miles? My car has now done 26,000 miles. I looked at the history online and couldn't work it out as said 40,000 mile service/ sale inspection. Yet it hasn't done that mileage yet, presume 30k!

As far as I'm aware the only Auris with a service indicator are the diesel versions.

Servicing is every 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever occurs first. 

So you either have a service annually if you have do less than 10,000 miles in a year, or every 10,000 miles if you do more than 10,000 miles in a year.

Intermediate services are due at 1 year/10,000 miles, 3 years/30,000 miles, 5 years/50,000 miles, etc. 

Full services are due at 2 years/20,000 miles, 4 years/40,000 miles, etc.

No service light on a Hybrid your dealer should remind you when its due however servicing is every 10miles/1yr which ever is soonest, a 2015 Auris would be 4 years old so a 40000/4yr Full service would be fine and the next service will be a 50000/5yr

Servicing alternates between uneven 1,3,5 etc being intermediate services 2,4,6 etc being Full services

Hi thank you both for your replies. My car has done 26,500 miles

It will need servicing at 36k then as due then as 10k service schedule? Probably listed though as 5 year 50k intermediate service on Toyota history? My annual mileage is around 10k.

Check your owners manual, it should be listed there if there is a service light. You can download the PDF one from Toyota UK for free.
