t27 Headlamps

Hello.

Question regarding t27 estate from 2010.

I have a version with light sensor and recently i had my headlamps buffed. Now i'm not sure they are connected right.

Which is the proper way they're supposed to be connected

1. Position "0" = parking lights, Position "auto" = parking lights and light sensor adds the low beam lights when dark, Position "parking lights" = parking lights, Position "low beam" = parking + low beam always.

2. Position "0" =  low beam, Position "auto" low beam and light sensor adds parking lights when dark, Position "parking lights" = parking lights, Position "low beam" = parking + low beam

Now before i had my lamps buffed i had number "1" setup. Now after buffing guy connected it the other way and keeps telling me it's correct.

I'm not sure anymore myself considering i've checked online and found some people have it "2" aswell.

Anyone knows what's the "correct" way it's supposed to be?

Please help.

I my opinion option 1 is the correct way. I will check when the car gets back as I have the same auto lights option

Ok thanks.

Will wait then.

It is surprisingly hard to get a definitive answer for this question 😅

Hi, just checked and it is as follows:

"0" = no lights - all off

"auto" = side lights and low beam when dark (for both, side and low beam)

"parking lights" = side lights,

"low beam" = side lights + low beam permanently.

Hope this helps.
