Hi all, 

Has anyone else purchased a rear bumper protector? If so, does it look like this as I believe I must be missing a part as it is so thin and hardly protects the bumper from my dog jumping in and out? I have checked the website and it only shows a closed boot picture and my local dealer is unsure if this is the correct piece of kit. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi,
The RAV4's current bumper protector is only "decoration", and is nowhere near the >3 inch wide stainless protector I had on my Avensis T27.

Search for "bumper protector" in this forum for an alternative..

 I can confirm it is a waste of time if anyone is considering buying this optional extra.

I have this one. Just a heads up that I had to add gorrilla Glue tape to secure it as it came off afer a few days. SInce then been well stuck down. 

They don't use 3m Tape. But good bumper protector and now that it is stuck works well with the dogs
