Mirror cover removal

Hi all. I'm new to the forum.  Just had my mk3 serviced at my local Toyota dealership.  They pointed out that the indicator lens on my near side mirror is cracked.  Don't want to spend £108 for a replacement so will do it myself.  How do I remove the cover without breaking it?  Any tips gratefully received.

Hi,

Does it not explain how to access the indicator bulb in the owner's manual, in the bulb replacement section?

This is an (adjusted) picture of an actual RAV mirror cover from this eBay shop:

Carefully with a plastic trim tool the lens/light is £35-40 iirc

the lens is held by 2 screws, you can also remove the cover by popping out the mirror glass/frame
