I abandoned my dealer visit this week as i did not want to sit in a possible Covid19 incubation room aka dealer waiting room so still have to check possible tracking issue. Interestingly i checked the tyre pressures and they were all out of sync but only marginally so the high speed handling performance remains an issue. I let her indoors take the car for a spin and she is very impressed and stated she loves the HUD  display and considers the Corolla easier to drive than the Golf GTD. I don't disagree.  Does anyone have trouble with the ignition switch first its in the wrong place hidden behind the steering wheel secondly when i have switched it off and hesitate leaving the vehicle strange thing happens e.g. it will not allow me to lock the vehicle unless i press the ignition again and its not me getting cranky in my old age as the wife has noticed it also.

I was about to ask you for that handling issue but thanks for the update. Maybe some owners of saloon and estate Corollas noticed any similar problems and wants to share information. These two cars are slightly different from yours , they have slightly longer wheelbase and that may well help with handling in winds or at higher speeds , because my car behaves exactly the same and apart from the wheelbase there is no any other similarity with your Corolla, I wonder if this can be a reason.  Is there any possibility you accidentally press ignition button twice when you wanted to turn off the ignition and doing so set the car into ACC mode ?
